Back To School!
Get The Wiggles Out!

Are your kids struggling to get back into the school routine? Finding it hard to keep their attention on their work?

Try working some of these classroom gross motor activities into your daily routine!

Most of these can be done at the desk or next to it, so they are space efficient and effective for regular classrooms as well as homeschool set-ups.

And the best part? I have focused especially on activities that include vestibular input and bilateral coordination skills.

Movement breaks that stimulate the vestibular system have been shown to help with focus and self-regulation, as well as coordination and balance.

And movement breaks that use both sides of the body together, have been shown to have an impact on academic performance.

So do yourself and your child or students a huge favor and include regular gross motor activities in your daily school routine.

It is super easy and you will reap the benefits!
