Hands-On Summer!
Bean Bag Activities For
Gross Motor Skills!
Welcome to Part Three in my series of Hands-On Summer Newsletters!
Bean bags are nifty little objects that every home and classroom should have! They are great props to help kids develop different gross motor skills.
And they don’t roll away if you drop them, so they are a lot easier than chasing after missed balls!
If you don’t have any bean bags, grab some lonely socks, stuff them into each other, knot them and you have a wonderful blob that does the same thing!

These bean bag games are also ideal indoor activities to keep your kids moving when it is too hot (or too cold) to venture outside.
So pop on over and get some ideas to help your kids work on coordination skills, balance and endurance!
